Исполнитель: Pee Wee RussellНазвание альбома: Over The Rainbow Год выпуска: 1982 Формат файлов: Mp3, 320 Размер архива: 92 Mb Скачать с: rusfolder With the exception of a 1965 version of "I'm in the Market for You," which has a few notes at its close by cornetist Bobby Hackett, this LP finds Russell (normally heard in Dixieland bands) showcased as the only horn. The other selections (taken from two sessions in 1958) feature him and one of two rhythm sections playing some of his favorite songs, including "I Would Do Anything for You," "I'd Climb the Highest Mountain" and "If I Had You." Russell, always a modern player although usually confined to more traditional settings, is really heard at his most lyrical throughout this very interesting set. Three of these performances are also included on Portrait of Pee Wee. Scott Yanow, AMG
