The Trio Gutfleisch-Schürmann-Frey presented the program of his new CD "Jazz People" (Unit Records). The audience can look forward to new and varied compositions by the Trio of protagonists in the styles of Swing, Hard Bop and Modern Jazz. In Basel, Switzerland's capital of art and music, these three music virtuosos joined forces after meeting in their collaboration in various professional jazz formations in the Swiss jazz scene. In 2017, they founded the jazz trio "Gutfleisch-Schürmann-Frey" to share their passion for swing, hard bop and modern jazz. These three musicians perform a varied repertoire - mainly their own compositions - with sensitivity, experience, harmony and great precision. The most varied stylistic influences and rhythms are skilfully combined to create compact and unconventional soundscapes. This unique sound is defined however by a solid groove, strong melodies and sophisticated harmonies. In the cultural and musical city of Basel the professional Swiss jazz scene together on cooperation in different format of three virtuoso musicians. In 2017, they founded the Jazz Trio "Gutfleisch-Schürmann-Frey", henceforth her passion for Swing, Hardbop and Modern Jazz together. With sensitivity, experience, and harmony, the three musicians present stylish and well-versed, a varied Repertoire of mainly original compositions of the band members - with a very personal Sound. A wide variety of stylistic influences and rhythms are guided expertly to form compact and distinct sound images together, wherein the preference for a semi-solid Groove, strong melodies and sophisticated harmonies is always in the center.
