Исполнитель: Tony Fruscella, Brew MooreНазвание альбома: Fru'N Brew Год выпуска: 1981, Spotlite Records Формат файлов: Mp3, 320 Размер архива: 100 Mb Скачать с: dfiles Spotlite's second release featuring the ill-fated and barely documented trumpeter Tony Fruscella is taken from a gig at New York's Open Door in 1953. Fruscella is matched with the soft-toned tenor Brew Moore, pianist Bill Triglia, bassist Teddy Kotick and drummer Art Mardigan, and they perform mostly lengthy versions of five jazz tunes (including renditions of "Blue Lester" and Thelonious Monk's "Hackensack" that exceed ten minutes apiece). The set is quite valuable, both for allowing one to hear Fruscella take fairly long solos and for the spirit of the somewhat freewheeling music. Scott Yanow
