For this extended edition, it was added various Richard Rodgers compositions recorded by the Peterson trio with Brown and Barney Kessel on guitar. Taped during 1952-53, this recordings marks Peterson’s first attempt at a Rodgers Song Book. Most of them were first issued on the LP Oscar Peterson plays Richard Rodgers (Clef MGC 624) which appears here in its entirety along with further isolated recordings of Rodgers’ tunes.
