One of the few jazz vocalists to have ever straddled the line between bebop and avant garde, Thomas is heard here accompanied by arranger Oliver Nelson's band. Features eight tunes including Thomas's epic version of Pharoah Sanders's "The Creator Has A Master Plan." First time on CD. Import remastered digipak reissue of 1970 album that's out-of-print in the U. S., originally released on Flying Dutchman. Recorded live at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall with Oliver Nelson. Includes one bonus track 'Damn Nam (Ain't Going To Vietnam)'
