This album is my first to feature entirely my own compositions. The decision to record with two rhythm sections was simply due to the fact that I could not choose between them. Both line-ups have something special to offer, which I guess boils down to a traditional approach versus a more modern, looser feel. I love both styles and I think that the tunes work both ways. Of course, I ultimately had to pick between them and so here are what I feel are the best takes of each tune, with two alternate takes for the listener to compare and enjoy.
