The resulting concert was recorded by Dick Patterson, and is the recording used for this album. The portion with the EHS Jazz Band is still lost, but this set with Stew’s orchestra has been painstakingly restored and remastered. It contains three songs that, to our knowledge, have never been recorded by Clark Terry in any setting; Honesty, Fading Flowers, and The Stroller. The Stroller is one of Terry’s original compositions, making it all the more unusual that it cannot be found in his official discography.
