Исполнитель: Chuck Gould Название альбома: Plays A La Fletcher Henderson Год выпуска: 1958 Формат файлов: mp3 vbr-0 Размер архива: 80mb Скачать с: Turbobit Notes LP: Charles “Chuck” Gould was born in Staples, Minnesota, and grew up in Seattle, Washington. His unusual musical career has included the composing, conducting and producing of such musicals as “Flyin’ Hi,” Olsen and Johnson’s “Funzapoppin’,” the “American Revue in Paris.” He has composed the lyrics and music for many popular songs, is prominent as a vocalist and as the composer-conductor of the popular álbum “White Satín and Black Velvet.” He is well fitted to bring us the culmination of the talents of his great friend Fletcher Henderson in this remarkable alburn, showing what can be 'done with the only native American art—Jazz. But this is more than the combining of the talents of Henderson and Gould or a creating of vital living jazz history—it’s also fun to listen to, to dance with, and to hear again'and again as the magic of mood and music are portrayed thru the talents of two men who knew what they were doing.
