Исполнитель: Charles MingusНазвание альбома: The Young Rebel 1946-1952 Год выпуска: 1986 Формат файлов: Mp3, 320 Размер архива: 78 Mb Скачать с: rusfolder This collector's LP features bassist Charles Mingus in his early days on a variety of mostly very rare recordings. Four advanced selections are by "Baron Mingus" in 1946 and 1949, four are with Earl Hines (although three of those have vocals by Wini Brown) in 1947 and the remaining six tracks include two by Mingus with Lee Konitz in 1952 and an interesting quartet date led by bassist Oscar Pettiford who is heard here exclusively on cello. A bit of a hodgepodge set ranging from swing/bop to more adventurous sounds, this valuable LP should fill some gaps in Mingus collections. This anthology collects a number of obscure 78 rpm's by Charles Mingus, many of which have not been reissued since they were originally released during the 1940s.
